UCLC-Reich War Belligerents: United Council & Laws of the Centicrus vs Reich von die Wasser-Krieger Backstory: Beginning first with the seizure of a UCLC spy ship, Reich and Centricus relations have since their inception been fraught with tension and danger. That tension boiled over when UCLC agents extracted a leading Hai scientist whom had chosen to defect along with his research on the Hai military. This was followed by the expulsion of all Centricrus from Hai space in retaliation when the details became publicly known. Further negotiations broke down and the Hai prepared for war. Unknown to the Reich however, the UCLC was determined to strike first in a surprise attack designed to scatter the Reich's fleet. Points of Interest:Grand Campaign: This is the thread for the movement of forces, diplomacy and negotiations. Only those allotted may post in this thread. DURING WAR TIME. ALL INVOLVED CIVILIZATION PURCHASES GO HERE AND THE PURCHASE THREAD. Cycles: One full post (All Belligerents, ModMark) is THREE MONTHS. During a war, every full CYCLE (year), a new turn is allotted. This is to ensure the other civilizations don't go churning ahead while the civilizations at war are left behind. Actions: Every post will use the following format: Purchases, Movement, Diplomacy. Role Play takes place during battles. Forces:United Council & Laws of the Centicrus:-- 3 Planetary Armies ( 300,000 men) -- 1 Infantry Army (100,000 men) -- 1 Armored Division (20,000 men/ 2,000 tanks or mechs) -- 1 Artillery Division (20,000 men/ 2,000 guns) -- 4 Destroyer -- 10 Prototype Frigate -- 1 Agent Reich von die Wasser-Krieger:-- 1 Planetary Garrison / 100,000 men -- 3 Infantry Armies / 300,000 men -- 1 Armored Division / 20,000 men - 2,000 mechs -- 1 Artillery Divisions / 20,000 men - 2,000 guns -- 3 Destroyers -- 7 Frigates -- 1 Battleship -- 1 Dreadnought Post Order: -UCLC- Reich-Modmark

Movement: 10 Prototype Frigates and 3 Destroyers enter Hai territory. 4 Frigates and 1 Destroyer head for each planet, 2 Frigates and the last Destroyer are on search-and-destroy against enemy commerce or reinforcement if one group needs it.
Diplomacy: UCLC declares war on the Reich. UCLC declares Reich territory to be a warzone under blockade, and warns all foreign nationals to leave or face the hazards of battle.

Movement: 1st Raum (Dreadnought and 4 frigates) patrol inner rim around Wasser. 2nd Raum (Battleship and 3 frigates) Patrol inner rim around Dunkelheist. The two Raums circle basically looking like a figure eight as the planets orbit around the Hai sun. The 3 destroyers patrol the outer rim of Hai space separately.

UCLC Surprise Attacks Overall Result: UCLC Victory Aftermath: Following its declaration of war, the UCLC fleet attacked multiple targets across the Reich nearly simultaneously. The result were three bloody battles that saw both the Reich and Centicrus experience heavy casualties. The UCLC was able to inflict heavy losses to the Reich's industry and war effort but squandered an early opportunity to knock it's capital ships out of the war. Nor was the firepower that the UCLC deployed for its planetary bombardment attempts efficient enough to completely lay waste to all the facilities of the Hai. While the action have put the Reich on the backfoot and bloodied them badly, the blows that have been landed were not decisive. The Hai are still very much in the war and capable of counterattacking against the UCLC which also experienced heavy losses in such an audacious attack.

UCLC: Movements: With several vessels of the UCLC fleet out of action for the next four months, the Navy has nonetheless decided to continue an offensive on the Hai trade networks and infrastructure to keep them off balance with quick strikes before retreating back into RWU territory. It is hoped that the attrition based campaign will bring the Hai to the table over the following year.
-2 Heavily damaged vessels returning to UCLC for repairs -5 Prototype Frigates and 2 Destroyers will launch continual attacks around Wasser, including hunter killer missions targeting merchant vessels.

War of the Reich The Centicrus would forever go down in intergalactic history -- even to the notable warriors and historians of the Reich -- as clever and elusive. A war that could've been avoided, the UCLC-Reich War was fueled by tenuous activity on the edge of Centicrus' space that ended with a botched attempt at rescuing a defective Hai scientist. The war itself was less innocuous, as during the same time, halfway across the galaxy the Graal Hegemony was tearing apart the Dronavi Holdworlds which held the attention of neighboring systems like the Republic of Eshara and the Revolutionary Workers' Union at full attention. However, to the Hai and Centicrus people this was an affront to the strict morale upstanding of the Hai caste, and an insult to the Centicrus' who had been accused of immoral activities that couldn't be brought to light due to top secret military investigations.
There were heavy casualties in the early fighting, the UCLC scored early victories with their technologically advanced space forces, giving pause amongst the people of the Hai who had deemed themselves the greatest warriors of the galaxy (A sentiment also shared by the Graal Hegemony, apparently). No Centicrus' soldier ever saw a Hai soldier, but instead only saw their timely destruction through viewports and star screens. While the Hai's Main Battle Fleet escaped destruction twice, it was only near the ending months of the year 3127 when UCLC vessels ceased their interdiction missions on Reich shipping and an observation drone was sent to Natchika to investigate. The findings were telling; dismantled, but still the same elusive, technologically inventive creatures as they were, the Centicrus' had seemingly devolved from a unified government into one of two dozen states, their own GDP's lacking enough to continue their space programs, they instead deemed it adequate to live a life of frugality and deal only with issues of a Centicran nature.
There was no peace treaty.
No official end of hostilities. Even sailors of the RWK who participated are hesitant to claim victory, as everything had merely .. stopped. Life would continue to go on for the Reich. It's unsure if in the future the Reich would pursue more abrasive relations with the simplified Centicrus, or they would impose harsh penalties for their past transgressions, but as the galactic sun set on the Reich Empire, many were left to question what exactly happened to the Centicrus' people.
