Everybody has an overestimation of the Destroyer.
1 Battleship > 20 Destroyers. We may create a Corvette class, but the Destroyer would be considered a conventional space fairing vessel without a Xenophite Fusion Core, which means substantially less power.

Hmm. Well I was thinking of the destroyer in modernish terms which was still a heavy fighter as one of the main stays

No, it's more like WWII. The Destroyer is a screening vessel and it's primary purpose is against small strike craft.

Even so, in a galaxy where you can spam a ton of destroyers every turn, carriers are useless.

If Lunar Colonies don't provide an income they should be cheaper to found. It takes just as many resources to research techs and colonize moons as normal planets, with a significant penalty in the loss of income. Either moons should be the equivalent of planets, or the cost of lunar colonies should be adjusted to make a more equitable balance.

I notice that I haven't gotten extra research points from my trade good, which is a +2 to research every turn. Shouldn't I have 4 more points than I have?
Also, Do I gain any benefits at all from extracting that Hai researcher? I'll post a couple D2Ds tomorrow to give you an opening, but I'm curious.

3 Tokens, so I suppose I'm up 7 now. That works, although I hope I can pull some intelligence out of him.

Okay so here is a question since I was under the notion that the you don't get the trade goods bonus unless you are trading them....
Option 1: Everyone gets their trade good?
or
Option 2: You get the bonus from your trade good once its being traded?
Personally I think Option 2 is the better of the two because it forces people to trade their goods and they don't get to just sit on it and get the bonus. Let me know your opinion and we'll do it by general consensus since there is 5 of us active.

option 2, but to be clear you have to have a specific trade agreement for it right?

Also you and eshara shouldn't be getting trade goods since you're both getting money from a trade agreement and eshara has no commercial port so you can't get both
