Mutiny Aboard the Starkiller Belligerents: FHA Sympathizers vs Graal / Dronavi Collaborators Backstory: Following the demand that the Dronavi build ships for the Graal war machine, the Starkiller was built and manned by a Dronavi skeleton crew until the Graal could take delivery of the vessel. When the FHA launched its assault across the Dronavi holdworlds, sympathizers within the crew staged a mutiny. Pitting them against the Graal officer corp onboard and their Dronavi collaborators. The Graal hold the bridge while the FHA has seized much of the lower decks. The main battle is focused around the engine room, which has been transformed into a bloody combat zone. A generator has been damaged in the engine, giving the ship only auxillary power and limited capabilities. Forces:Graal:3,500 crew men Dronav:4,600 men *These troops for the purposes of this modmark will function as smaller independent land armies. Training and equipment quality is nearly exactly the same except for perhaps a small core of Graal troops amongst the crew. Posting Order:-Dronav Holdworlds -Graal Hegemony -Modmark

Bavak was formed up with the rest of his squad. They moved forward in a leapfrog in their effort to take the engine room from the kneelers who stood beside the Graal in oppression of the Dronav. There were others fighting throughout the ship. The goal was to take the engine room and use the maintenance access to take the bridge by surprise. The fighting was mostly hand to hand and close up fire fights, they were limiting the use of grenades in the engine room.
There were other men fighting on the other levels in the attempt to take the bridge in a more straight forward fight. There grenades were used more freely to clear the traitors from their path.

Morgoth ripped his serrated blade from the Dronavi captain's belly, spilling his guts onto the floor as he collapsed onto the bridge. '' Traitor meat. '' Morgoth snarled. The terrified Dronavi crew stared at their Graal overseer while his men armed weapons, his officers organizing the resistance below decks against the uprising that had billowed out of nowhere. The boom of grenades echoed as troops tossed them down the maintenance access ports and covered the vents leading into the bridge.
'' I want the Dronavi locked out of the engine room! Lead a counterattack to seize it! When you reach the core, I want a meltdown to be initiated before we withdraw! '' The Graal officer roared into the radio at his subordinate, the crackle of gunfire over the comm's ensured that it was still being carried out. Meanwhile, despite the fact that the ship was functioning on auxillary power he knew that the bridge control could still cut off access points. Trapping Dronavi rebels in compartments and kept them from reinforcing the engine room while Morgoth's men fortified the engine room. They would have to cut their way through and that would take time and time was the most key part of any battle.

The engine room fell easily to the Dronavi rebel forces since weapons weren't common in such a room. Also with three years of quiet acquiescence had lead the Graal into laxity. The few soldiers in engineering were cleared as the rebel forces began taking control of the power output and the engines themselves. More squads began filtering into the maintenance shafts. The brief victory though was short lived as Graal soldiers began their counter-attack to regain control of the ship. The fiercest fighting was around the elevators, armories, and bridge. Graal soldiers knew that losing any of these areas would cause their lives to become more difficult.
Turn 1 Battle Summary:
-- Starkiller 20% Dronavi Control -- 150 Sympathizers Casulaties -- 300 Collaborators Casualties

"Sir, what should we do? The kneelers have the bridge."
Bavak looked at the tech specialist near by his position."Can you channel the core waste through the vents into the bridge?"
The man gave him a look that questioned his sanity. "In theory, but there's a chance one or more of the vent locks could burst leaking hazardous materials through the whole ship."
"Can we override the bridge commands and seal them in and lock down the elevators?"
"It would be the safer option for sure sir. With the proper maintenance codes we should be able to shut down the elevators at will and even redirect them I think."
"Good do that, block as many of the bridge commands as you can and send any elevators leaving area's not under our control to level seven-two." Bavak grabbed a com's unit and pressed in the proper sequence. The message told the units on seven-two to secure the elevators and prepare to greet hostiles. "I want a priority signal sent out everything we can spare on this position we can't lose the engine room all other objectives are secondary."
The attacks on the Armories and Bridge would continue but if the enemy came to take the engines they'd find much stiffer resistance than they bargained for.

Two could play at that game. Morgoth watched furiously as his bridge crew attempted to fight off the override codes. The auxiliary power that the ship was operating under was giving both sides a challenge in destroying the other.
'' Open the hatches in the lower decks and vent them into space. '' The bridge technician didn't even bother arguing that their own men were trapped down there. The Dronavi outnumbered them heavily.
'' Once they are flushed out, close them and have our men counterattack. '' Commands were barked over communications sets, the airlock's slowly yawning open to vent men whom had no environmental suits on into the deep black void of space.

The battle for the Starkiller would be a costly one, for both the Dronavi and the Graal. The decks were littered with hundreds of corpses as the battle lasted more than a day. The engine room changing hands four times, before the FHA loyalists finally seized it completely. The assault on the bridge was the costliest of all, it had been heavily fortified by the Graal commander. But in the end, the Dronavi had managed to take control of the vessel. However, the ship is badly internally damaged and has little in the way of trained crew to man the colossal vessel.
Effect: Dronavi Victory Starkiller at 40% effectiveness
